Software Descriptions MAISY database navigation/analysis software provides users with a variety of data access, evaluation and analysis capabilities designed specifically to support energy market and customer analysis. Furthermore, the software has been designed specifically for marketing department staff. No IS department support is needed to access, analyze and extract information of interest. MAISY provides two database software capabilities: Standard MAISY database software uses a patented data exploration process that answers specific marketing questions with mouse-clicks on charts and permits users to navigate through the state-level energy marketing and hourly load databases, exploring customer characteristics and relationships. Information can be viewed in chart or table form at any level of aggregation ranging from an individual customer to all customers in a state or states. MAISY provides detailed reports and exports data to other software systems. The software runs from desktop or network systems. MAISY software has been recognized and licensed by users outside the energy industry because of its easy-to-use intuitive user interface. For instance, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), an agency within the Defense Department licensed MAISY software to provide advanced information analysis capabilities.
