Two Daily Weather Database Download Options are available:

If you have already downloaded the MAISY OLAP software in a previous download, you will want to Download only the Daily Weather Database for installation in your current MAISY OLAP demo folder.

If this is the first time that you have downloaded a MAISY OLAP Demonstration database, you will want to Download the Daily Weather Database and a Working Version of MAISY OLAP.

Download Daily Weather Database and a Working Version of MAISY OLAP

The Daily Weather Database is provided as both an Excel spreadsheet file and a database text file. Step-by-step instructions are provided as part of the installation process to either : (1) access the data from within the Excel spreadsheet as an Excel Add-In, or (2) read the database text file directly. The MAISY OLAP demo software is a fully-working version of MAISY; however, it can be applied only to the demonstration spreadsheets and databases.

The download file, named msywthrw.exe, is about 1,300 Kbytes in size. To install the demo after it is downloaded, use Windows File Manager (3.x) or Windows Explorer (95) to go to the subdirectory that receives your downloads (e.g., c:\netscape) and double-click on the msywthrw.exe file. The demo automatically installs in a new directory (c:\maisydol) and presents instructions with notepad (file: readwthr.txt).

MAISY demos run under Windows 3.x or 95, require 5 Mbytes of free disk space and 16 Mbytes of memory. All program and data files are installed in c:\maisydol; a single file with the MAISY directory path is also installed in c:\windows. MAISY does not make any changes to system files and can be uninstalled by moving the MAISY folder to the Recycle Bin.
